Trenae Dunigan has been a resident of Kalamzoo, Michigan for her whole life. She attended Washington Writers Academy before entering middle school at Milwood Middle and finally becoming a “Giant” at Kalamazoo Central High School where she is now a sophomore. She has always been an outstanding student often receiving mostly A’s and B’s. While the transition to high school was difficult, Trenae has been able to maximize her experience by working harder academically and getting involved in many extra curricular activities. She has received many awards for her academics over the years and  made the varsity cheerleading team as a freshman and runs track as well. 

Besides many school achievements, Trenae engages in other activities outside of school. She is a proud member of an all girl dance group, Anonymous, and has performed at various talent shows including a local audition for the Apollo.  During the fall of 2008, Trenae joined the Future 4 Teens team as the student intern. She is very passionate being a part of the executive board, providing ideas and assisting in the development of youth events and opportunities. She is also a key force in F4T promotion and getting other students involved. Besides spending time with the F4T team, Trenae greatly enjoys listening to music and spending time with her friends.  In the future, Trenae would like to attend Clark Atlanta University and study Psychology as well as continue to pursue her passion in dance.
