Mr. Anthony Daniel has been a lifelong Michigander living in Lansing and Grand Rapids, MI. He is a graduate of Michigan State University earning a B.S. in Psychology and Health Promotion. After graduation Mr. Daniel worked for several of human services organization before obtaining a Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University. Anthony worked for five years at the state level in public health and policy before deciding to return to school to earn a doctorate degree. Currently, Mr. Daniel is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.
A majority of Mr. Daniel’s work and volunteer activities have aligned with his interest in community empowerment. Mr. Daniel is particularly passionate about working with communities to reduce the social determinants of health that disproportionately affect people of color. Since moving to Kalamazoo, Future 4 Teens has allowed him to engage with area youth to continue these efforts.
