​Brandi Pritchett-Johnson humbly serves as the CEO/President of Future 4 Teens. She founded Future 4 Teens in 2006 before joining forces with her F4T family to take the organization to the next level. Since 2008 Future 4 Teens has developed strong relationships and developed quality programs aimed at changing the lives of youth for the better. While Dr. Pritchett-Johnson is forever devoted to strengthening and expanding Future 4 Teens she wears many hats. Dr. Pritchett-Johnson is a licensed psychologist and works at the University of Florida in the Counseling and Wellness Center as a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Coordinator for ASPIRE. ASPIRE is a movement aimed at supporting the retention and time-to-degree of Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and First Generation students. Through this effort, Dr. Pritchett-Johnson provides a variety of outreach and consultation services to students, faculty, staff, and administration. She is also an Affiliate Professor in the Counseling Psychology and African American Studies department at University of Florida. Dr. Pritchett-Johnson has worked diligently in the K-12 public school system, non-profit sector, long term care industry, and community mental health setting hoping to impact lives for the better. Her experiences include; individual and group therapy, training and supervision, the development and facilitation of support groups and workshops, public speaking, and much more.

 

Dr. Pritchett-Johnson received her undergraduate degree from the Historically Black Institution, Clark Atlanta University before receiving her masters and doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She has held ties to the American Psychological Association and the Association of Black Psychologist hoping to continue strengthening her networks, engage in research, and present at regional and national conferences across the country. She is an advocate for wellness, social justice, and love. She has been recognized by University of Michigan as an Emerging Diversity Scholar, considered an "expert" guest on BAM! Radio, and is often invited to provided continuing education workshops for mental health and education professionals.

On a personal note, Dr. Pritchett-Johnson feels incredibly overjoyed and blessed to share this life with her extended family, friends, and her husband and son whom she refers to as – “my Joes’”. Ultimately she has a great passion and love for education in its many forms and the privilege of witnessing her students discover what makes them special.
