Ms. Milo is a new resident of Baltimore, MD. She recently moved from Michigan after spending all of her life in the south. She is from Arlington, TX by way of New Orleans, LA. Ms. Milo received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dillard University in May 2007 and her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in August 2009. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University (WMU).


She is a member of the National Council of Negro Women, Beta Kappa Chi National Honor Society, National Institute of Science Honor Society, International Mentorship Association Member, American Psychological Association Member, Association of Black Psychologists Member, National Black Graduate Student Association Member and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Ms. Milo is also the founder and contributor to the Amelia Davis scholarship which supports students in college.

She is a mental health professional at a local university in Baltimore. She is also a program facilitator for Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. In this role, she delivers character development programming to girls in schools and various community agency settings. Ms. Milo is the Vice President of Program Operations for Future 4 Teens. She develops, implements and manages all programs that are offered by F4T. 

Ms. Milo has a plethora of experiences that have made her contribution to the Future4Teens organization very unique. She has served as a counselor in an elementary school. She has also volunteered in multiple mental health venues inclusive of the Greater New Orleans Arc, which is a center for developmentally disabled adults. Cheyla has also participated in the development and implementation of psycho educational programming that places emphasis on student academic engagement at Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, MI.

 

Ms. Milo has a vested interest in the well being of young people. She is passionate about the Future 4 Teens mission and is a believer in the power of good people doing great things.
